dc.description.abstract Recently scientists gave special attention to the synthesis of transition metal complexes due to their catalytic, biological mesogenic and paramagnetic properties. Hydrazone ligands and their complexes have pronounced biological as well as mesogenic properties. Considering the above important properties of transition metal hydrazone complexes the present work synthesized and characterized some novel hydrazone complexes of iron(ll1), nickel(II) and copper(II) having some long chain residue or tailing. ------ en_US
